Giangiacomo Pinardi - archlute

Giangiacomo Pinardi is the continuo-section pillar in many baroque ensembles, including Italian group Europa Galante where he has performed regularly since as early as 2001. Countless concerts, overseas tours, recordings with the group have provided him with the rock-solid knowledge of continuo playing subtleties he is known for.

From 2007 he has accompanied director Fabio Biondi in many seasons with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, and exposed himself to the irresistible touch of Nordic folk music; which, paired with his past as rock guitarist, gives him a unique drive he is happy to lend to the kaleidoscopic Brú project.
